About the Author
Adolf K.Y. Ng is a professor of Transport and Supply Chain Management at the University of Manitoba in Canada. His main research areas include transport geography, climate adaptation and resilience, transport infrastructure planning and management, global supply chains, and the Arctic. He has authored or coauthored over 200 publications in the field and is an editor of European Journal of International Management, Maritime Policy & Management, and Asian Journal of Shipping and Logistics. He is a founding member of the International Forum on Climate Change Adaptation Planning for Port, Transportation Infrastructure, and the Arctic (CCAPPTIA) (ccapptia.com). Jason Monios is an Associate Professor in Maritime Logistics at Kedge Business School, in Marseille, France, and holds a visiting position at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. His research includes intermodal transport and logistics, port system evolution, collaboration and integration in port hinterlands, port governance and policy, institutional and regulatory settings, port sustainability and climate change adaptation. He has published more than 70 papers and book chapters, 5 books and numerous research and consultancy reports. He is co-chair of the Intermodal Freight Transport Special Interest Group of the World Conference on Transportation Research Society (WCTRS). Changmin Jiang is an associate professor of Transport and Supply Chain Management at the University of Manitoba in Canada. He is one of the leading young scholars worldwide in the field of transport economics and policy in the sectors of aviation, rail, and maritime. He has published more than 20 papers in top-tier transportation and management journals and has received many prestigious accolades such as the Falconer Emerging Researcher Rh Award.
