The sixties, seventies and eighties were decades of great change. Many towns and cities were redeveloped with projects that dramatically affected the character of the place. John started his writing career in 2009, culminating in publishing several books on the history of Bournemouth, which included his first novel, 'A Smugglers Tale' (2017) and 'Lost Bournemouth' for Amberley Publishing.
