The final section includes essays on a number of miscellaneous issues, such as using thought experiments to teach philosophy, the soul-making defense against the problem of free will, and the limitations of postmodern philosophy.
About AuthorGary James Jason received a doctorate in philosophy from the University of Illinois, a master's degree in philosophy from the University of Illinois, a master's degree in computer science from the University of Kansas, and bachelor's degrees in physics and philosophy from UCLA. He is currently a lecturer in philosophy at California State University, Fullerton. He is the author of numerous articles, book reviews, and editorials as well as three books: The Logic of Scientific Discovery, Introduction to Logic, and Critical Thinking: Developing an Effective Worldview.
