Izzat Majeed is not a poet. He carries in his heart and mind words that find in him one who loves and one who is loved. His random walk has the movement of longing without respite. Like some forgotten page, the words keep saying: You and the idea of you are the same that is love Izzat Majeed was born in Lahore in 1950. He got his PPE from Oxford in 1972 and went back to Lahore to teach at the University of Punjab. He left Pakistan in the early 80s and, after a sojourn in Saudi Arabia, landed in London where he has made his home.
