About Author

Leela Fernandes is Glenda Dickerson Collegiate Professor of Women's Studies and Political Science at the University of Michigan, USA. Her most recent book is Transnational Feminism in the United States: Knowledge Ethics and Power. She is also the author of India's New Middle Class, Transforming Feminist Practice and Producing Workers.
