The Christmas stocking - loved by children and adults alike - has become an iconic symbol of Christmas, and is as much a part of the Christmas celebrations as the Christmas tree and Santa Claus himself. This book contains 22 gorgeous designs for traditional Scandinavian-style knitted Christmas stockings. There are detailed knitting instructions and charts where required, as well as information on the yarns and colours used, and the beautiful colour photographs of the finished stockings throughout the book will make you want to knit them all. In addition, for those who love the Scandinaviain look, there are patterns for a traditional knitted bobble hat, mittens and leg warmers at the end of the book. For the perfect, traditional Christmas, these stockings are a must. Their iconic design means they will never go out of date, and will become a part of your family celebrations for many Christmases to come.
