Inspired by Koyama Press artists Eleanor Davis and Julie Delporte, Sex Fantasy is a look at life's intimate moments, sometimes directly with autobio, and sometimes indirectly through wonderfully poetic comics that can be heart warming or a chuckle-inducing gag depending on the page. The book's title, Sex Fantasy, is about the idea that sex, and physical relationships, are so personal you need to build a trusting relationship; a relationship that is unlike any other. The intimate moments portrayed in this book are akin to those moments of absolute unerring trust garnered through the physical side of love. Sophia Foster-Dimino has a graphic style that feels inherently modern. Pulling from illustration conventions as much as from videogames and digital media, Foster-Dimino's work looks as contemporary and modern as the relationship she portrays.
