Kana Sasakura is a professor of criminal procedure law at Konan University, Kobe. She is the co-director of the SBS Review Project Japan as well as the deputy director of the Innocence Project Japan. Leila Schneps is Professor of Mathematics working at Sorbonne University, Paris. She has published Math on Trial (Basic Books, 2013, with C. Colmez) about miscarriages of justice caused by mathematical errors. Waney Squier is a retired paediatric neuropathologist formerly at John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, UK. Knut Wester is a neurosurgeon, and Professor Emeritus in the Department of Clinical Medicine at the University of Bergen, Norway.
