In Shifty McGifty and Slippery Sam: The Spooky School, the much-loved picture book pair of pooches appear for the first time in a two-colour fiction format, ideal for children growing in confidence as readers and beginning to read alone.
Shifty McGifty and Slippery Sam don't just make amazing cakes. These two brave bakers solve wacky mysteries too!
Halloween at St Spectre's school brings out the cheekiest of ghosts! And who is to blame when the weather goes CRAZY? A power-grabbing red panda, maybe? Certainly not the raccoon gang fixing the museum's toilets - they've got dastardly plans of their OWN!

Tracey Corderoy (Author) Tracey began writing in 2006. She lives in Gloucestershire with her family and a whole host of cute-but-naughty pets. Steven Lenton (Illustrator) Steven hails from Cheshire where he spent many a school holiday working in the family Pom-pom Factory, packing poms and designing new products. Since this somewhat fluffy start to his career he has gained a BA and MA in Animation and has become a successful animator and art director within the realms of children's television. Steven also designs greetings cards and prints. His main ambition has always been to be a children's book maker and he is very proud to be realising this dream with Nosy Crow. Steven now lives in London where he works from his studio with his little dog, Holly, and dunks endless amounts of biscuits in big red spotty cups of tea while listening to Radio 2.
