This book is aimed at school or club soccer coaches looking for tactics to improve their attacking and defensive systems, as well as players and advanced youth coaches. Through on-field demonstrations, game footage and progressive drills, coaches will learn how to teach essential soccer tactics that can be incorporated into any formation or style of play. This unique programme provides viewers with a first-hand insight into how master coach Sigi Schmid teaches and involves players in drills to enhance their tactical ability. It uses a 'games approach' style of teaching that helps players to better understand tactical play. The featured tactics can be customised to suit the skill level of all teams.
