About Author

Tyler Adams is an artist and acoustician based in Los Angeles, United States. After graduating from California Institute of the Arts (with a BFA) and University of California (with a MFA), he obtained a further master s degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, NY (MS Architectural Acoustics). In 2012, he was the recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship to pursue his work and research in Vienna, Austria. His work has been exhibited at Steve Turner Contemporary, The New World Symphony Miami, Taubman Museum of Art, MuseumsQuartier Wien, Museum der Moderne Salzburg, DOX Centre for Contemporary Art Prague and ZKM Karlsruhe. As an acoustician, he has consulted on a variety of projects such as laboratories, schools, hospitals, office buildings, high-density residential, environmental and traffic noise mitigation, industrial parks and performance spaces."
