About the Author
Elizabeth A. Sudduth is the head of Rare Books and Special Collections Processing and Services for the Thomas Cooper Library at the University of South Carolina. She also compiled The Joseph M. Bruccoli Great War Collection at the University of South Carolina: An Illustrated Catalogue. G. Ross Roy is a Distinguished Professor Emeritus of English at the University of South Carolina and an honorary research fellow in the Department of Scottish Literature at the University of Glasgow. He has published widely on Burns, and he has edited Burns's letters and contributed to the complete works of Burns. Roy holds an honorary doctorate from the University of Edinburgh and is honorary president of the Robert Burns Federation.
