Brian Francis is Professor of Social Statistics at Lancaster University and Associate Director Violence & Society UNESCO Centre. Susie Balderston is Doctor of Applied Social Science, Senior Research Associate at Lancaster University and Lecturer in Social Policy at Salford University.
