About the Author
Dr. Frykberg received his podiatric medical training at the California College of Podiatric Medicine before attending Harvard Medical College's New England Deaconess Hospital in Boston for his podiatric surgical residency. He also holds a Masters in Public Health from Harvard University.After his residency training he was appointed clinical attending staff at New England Deaconess Hospital during his years of private practice, 1978 to 1999. In 1999 he accepted a position as Dean for Clinical Affairs at the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery, Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical Center. Most recently, he was appointed Chief of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at the Carl T. Hayden Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Phoenix.
