He is the author of two previous books, Understanding Psychiatry and the Irish Times bestseller In My Room. Jim lectures and conducts talks and seminars throughout Ireland, the UK and Europe and appears regularly on Irish radio and television to discuss issues of the mind and mental wellbeing. He lives in Dublin with his wife and family.
