Contrary to popular belief, frogs do not just sit all day in a pond, croaking and catching flies. They think, observe, and ponder. The Long and Winding Toad is a collection of some of the pearls of wisdom gleaned through years of life experiences in the frog pond. It is a tongue in cheek photographic journey offering enlightenment and encouragement. Dismiss your counsellor, and jump into the pond for a good dose of motivation, inspiration and information. You will learn how to deal with all the irritations that prevent you from living a hoppy contented life.
Noleen Orr first became up close and personal with Litoria Caerulea (green tree frogs) on a very wet weekend in Mackay, Queensland. She fell in love immediately. Her family presented her with a large tank complete with two green tree frogs as a gift for a milestone birthday and the frog family increased considerably from there. Noleen retains a special admiration for these amazing creatures and was inspired to write this book about them.
