About Author

Valeri Ozeran was born in the Ukraine when Russia was Communist and to believe in God was an offence against the state. He studied and graduated from the Conservatory of Peter Tchaikovsky in Kiev in 1985. He came to Australia in 1993, and soon after his arrival he began performing with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. While touring with a group of classical musicians, Valeri met and fell in love with an Australian girl. Eventually, they married and he moved here, working with the MSO. After his marriage ended, Valeri explored other paths in life and is now the musician at the Cuckoo restaurant in Olinda.
