She is on the Steering Committee for the Future of EMDR Therapy Project, on the Council of Scholars, and chair of the "What is EMDR" working group. She received HAP's Humanitarian Services Award (1997), Outstanding Contribution to EMDRIA award (2003) and EMDRIA's Francine Shapiro Award (2005).
